Oxford's Christmas 2014

The 2014 Christmas Light Festival was held over the weekend of 21-23 November 2014.

Visit the Oxford's Christmas website for full details.

While there was no lantern parade or event in St Giles this year, there were free Christmas activities and shows at dozens of venues across the city.

There were no road closures at this year's Christmas Light Festival and no 'switch-on' moment - the lights were on throughout the event.

The event was a collaboration between more than 20 venues in Oxford providing live music and dance performances, arts installations and free cultural activities for the communities of the city. This multi-venue arts festival responded to the theme "See Your City in a Different Light."

"See your city in a different light at Oxford's Christmas Light Festival. Hundreds of free arts events. Dozens of venues. One magical weekend."
