In January 2019, Oxford declared a climate emergency, and in autumn 2019 we were the first UK city to hold a Citizen's Assembly on Climate Change.
Since then we have continued to work to tackle the climate emergency and reduce our own carbon emissions, the emissions of our city, and are empowering residents to take action.
