What is an apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is a real job where you can earn a wage and work towards a recognised qualification whilst gaining valuable work experience you will need for your job and future career.
Whichever level of apprenticeship you choose, you will be supported by mentors, managers and assessors, as well as working alongside experienced colleagues who will help guide and support your development to become an important part of the team.
There will be off-the-job learning involved, assignments to complete, and time to attend college - dependent on what type of apprenticeship you undertake. At the same time you will be developing skills that influence how you work and interact with others including team work, communication, problem solving and decision making skills.
