How to apply
The best way to apply for building regulations approval is using one of our online forms.
Alternativeley, you can download an application form and email it to us at buildingcontrol@oxford.gov.uk or you can apply on the Planning Portal.
What you will need
- an application form
- a location plan, site plan or block plan
- structural calculations or technical specifications
- scaled drawings (existing and proposed)
- fee - if you are unsure, please request a fee quote
Please note that Building Control Service only undertakes a site inspection once a valid application has been submitted for the proposed work and the relevant application fee has been paid. We also remind you that it can take up to two working days for your application to be registered, so we strongly advise you to submit your Building Regulation Application well in advance of start of work on site.
