The Bells are rung for various civic and ceremonial occasions throughout the year by the Oxford Society of Change Ringers on behalf of Oxford City Council. The tower, which is all that remains of the 12th-century St. Martin's Church, houses a set of six bells cast in 1676 by Richard Keene.
