This page explains where to send post, what to include on the envelope and important information about sending documents.
What to include on the envelope
Help us to process your mail quickly by including this information on the envelope or package:
- the department you are contacting
- the name of the council employee (if known)
Sending documents in the post
If you need to include documents, it is important to send copies, not the originals (unless we specifically request this).
If you must send original documents in the post, include a return address so we can return them to you.
We are not responsible for the loss or damage of original documents.
Postal address
Our postal address is Oxford Town Hall, St Aldate's, Oxford, OX1 1BX.
You must attach the correct postage to your envelope or package, unless you are delivering by hand.
Deliver by hand
You can deliver your post by hand, for free, to our post box at the Town Hall.
We collect mail from the Town Hall post box every day and we process it on the next working day.
