Special Expenses in Unparished Areas

Parish Councils usually manage services like park maintenance, allotment provision, and ditch upkeep. They charge a precept to cover these costs, which is added to the Council Tax bills of residents in that parish. In areas without a Parish (most of our administrative area), we calculate the cost of providing these services. This cost is included in the Council Tax bills as Unparished Area Special Expenses.
