Register of HMO licences

The Regulations only permit publication of licences that are in force and so prohibit publication of pending or expired licences. Under Freedom of Information, pending or expired licences are classed as confidential information and so cannot be provided even if a Freedom of Information Request is made.

You can use our searchable version of the register below. The information in the register is linked to a map. 

Please note, where the licence holder is the manager of the property, then the 'manager' fields will remain blank.

Oxford City Council also publishes the required information at Public Access System where you can find all the details required for each HMO. Search for HMO Licence.

The data in the register and the public access system is real-time data. However, licences are not published until they are issued and are removed once expired.

Oxford City Council does not condone the use of direct marketing undertake by third parties accessing this information. By doing so, third parties could find themselves in breach of data protection legislation by not gaining consent from the individuals concerned.

Report unlicensed HMOs
