Blackbird Leys Neighbourhood Area

Blackbird Leys Parish Council has started work on producing a Neighbourhood Plan.

Producing a Neighbourhood Plan gives local residents the opportunity to create planning and community policies which will help to shape how their area grows and develops over the coming years. 

Neighbourhood Area Designation

The first step in producing a Neighbourhood Plan is to decide the area that the Neighbourhood Plan will cover. This is known as the ‘Neighbourhood Area’. 

Blackbird Leys Parish Council have submitted an application to Oxford City Council asking for the within the Blackbird Leys Parish boundary to be formally designated as a Neighbourhood Area.

The parish council's application documents comprise of the following:

• Area Application - this is the Parish Council's rationale for choosing the Neighbourhood Area
• Neighbourhood Area Map - this map shows the Neighbourhood Area boundary (which is the same as the parish boundary)
