Planning to move out
You need to give us four weeks' written notice before ending your tenancy. During this period, arrange to clear any arrears and pay rent until your moving-out date. If you can't pay the full amount, contact our Rents Team.

Consequences of not clearing arrears
If you don't address your arrears or fail to stick to the agreed payment plan, we may take legal action. This could affect your credit rating and increase your debt. Being evicted for non-payment can impact your eligibility for the Housing Register and any future housing offers will require clearing outstanding debts first.
