This page explains why bins or bulky waste may not have been collected and how to report a collection we missed in error.
It's important to use the correct form for the missed collection so your report can be dealt with quickly.
When and how to report a missed bin/sack collection
The main issues we have when attempting to collect bins (and won't return for them) are:
- bin not presented on time - bin collections take place from 7am to 4.30pm Tuesday to Friday - Check your bin collection dates
- bin in the wrong location or street - see How to put your bins out for collection
- wrong items in bin - see What goes in each bin
- extra rubbish left out - see What to do with extra waste
Submit a report if we missed your bin collection and you feel it was our error.
Send your report after 4.30pm on collection day but no later than 6pm the next working day. If your collection day is Friday you can also report over the weekend.
