How to report a missed bin or sack collection

To report a missed bin or sack collection which you believe was our error, use our online form for the fastest response.

Send your report any time after your road has been completed but no later than 6pm on the next working day (if your collection day is Friday you have until 6pm on Monday.)

What happens next

If you report too early or too late you should receive an instant response. If you're on time, we'll check your report against the live reporting system fitted in our collection vehicles. If an issue is logged we won't return until your next collection date.

How to report a missed bulky waste collection

To report a missed bulky waste collection which you believe was our error, use our online form for the fastest response.

Send your report after 4.30pm on the collection day but no later than 6pm on the next working day (if your collection day is Friday you have until 6pm on Monday.)

Bulky waste collection issues we won't return for include:

  • items not put out on time - bulky waste collections take place between 7am and 4.30pm, Tuesday to Friday (you're given a collection day when you book)
  • items not presented properly or not in an accessible location - see Bulky waste collection service for how to prepare for collection day
  • extra or different items left out (than what we were told about)

Report a missed bulky waste collection

Missed coffee pod collections

You can't use our form to report a missed coffee pod collection, instead:

  • check they were prepared properly and don't contain too much liquid or the wrong materials
  • leave them out on your next collection day

Missed textile collections

You can't use our form to report a missed textiles collection

Instead, contact Recycling Solutions directly. You'll find their contact details in the confirmation email we sent you.
