Report a Pollution Problem
Oxford City Council is committed to tackling pollution and ensuring a clean, safe environment for everyone. If you're facing a pollution problem, it's our duty to take action when a statutory nuisance is evident.
Oxford City Council's enforcement action on pollution
Once you report a pollution issue, here's what we'll do:
- notify the person responsible about the complaint and provide advice to prevent further issues
- evaluate the evidence and take regulatory action in line with our Corporate Enforcement Policy - where a risk to health is identified this could include legal or direct action to remove the risk
- inform you of the steps taken and any relevant next steps
