Summary
During the term, the Hall operates as a college, hosting students in accommodation, providing meals and
teaching and offices for staff. Outside of term, and to a lesser extent inside of term, the bedrooms, meeting
spaces and gardens may be hired commercially. Wycliffe Hall is situated on a junction between Banbury Road
and Norham Gardens, with two lawns. The South Lawn can be sectioned off entirely from the building and
public thoroughfare, whereas the rear lawn leads directly onto Norham Gardens. The ground floor of the main
hall building has two meeting rooms, the dining room and kitchen, office spaces and our Chapel. On the further
floors in the main hall is the Upper Common Room and all of the standard student accommodation in 46 rooms
with adjoining kitchens and bathrooms. In the Old Lodge portion of the main hall there is a library, office
spaces, a kitchenette and a boardroom. The places we will carry out licensed activity (sale of alcohol) would be
the dining room, the two ground floor meeting rooms, the Chapel, the Hall foyer, the Upper Common Room and
the two garden spaces. The site at Wycliffe Hall also has nearby buildings facing onto Norham Gardens with a
mixture of student accommodation and meeting space; 2 Norham Gardens contains 3 seminar rooms and 4
Norham Gardens contains 1 seminar room and a meeting room that will be used for licensed activity.
