Fees - FOI Policy
Where applicable the Council may charge fees for additional costs above £450 to produce a FOI response, following government guidance. However, the Council is not obliged to comply with a FOI request if the cost of doing so would exceed £450.
There is no 'appropriate limit' to the cost of complying with requests for environmental information. However, Regulation 8 of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004, provides for the recovery of 'reasonable' costs.
